I recieved an email yesterday, from the author of this tutorial:

Hello!

My name is Arthur O'Dwyer, and I do TI-83 Basic programming. Back
in the year 2000, I wrote a small guide to TI-83 optimization,
modestly titled "The Compleat TI-83 Basic Optimization Guide".
I've just finished work on Version 2 of the guide, a much better
organized and more in-depth document whose target audience is the
"Real Programmer". That is, it skips over all the obvious beginner
stuff and dives right into the things that you might /not/ know.
Think of it as the TAOCP or HAKMEM of TI-83 Basic programming.

I just sent the ZIP file for uploading to ticalc.org; you can also
find it here:
http://www.contrib.andrew.cmu.edu/~ajo/disseminate/83trix.zip

Alex Snyder ("Axcho") suggested I contact you and ask if you'd like
to add the Compleat Guide to your tutorials page,
http://tifreakware.calcgames.org/tutorials/
If you would, then please do go ahead and add it --- either the
whole ZIP's contents, or just 83TRIXV2.TXT with or without the images.
I ask only that you send me e-mail when you do. (Oh, and if it has to
be HTMLized, please don't mangle the tables. Smile

Thanks for your time, and for maintaining your site!

-Arthur

I hope to have some progress to show on this in the next week or so.
K, good to hear. Hope that adds more good stuff to your already burgeoning tutorials section. Smile
I hope so... I need to get permission for some asm tutorials to be posted... I wonder if the author of asm in 28 days would let me put his up...
Eh, I somehow think not; I heard he doesn't like to spread it around. It can't hurt to ask though, and it would always be a nice asset to your collection.
This tutorial is really cool. Some of the stuff it includes on lists is very useful. I used the tips to significantly increase the speed of a lot of my stat sprite using programs. I might have enough speed to spare now to add more features to that jumping Mario program.
good, this means it will be a good tutorial to add to the archives. ^_^
