I really like the feature of MirageOS that allows you to press Alpha, then ON to save when you are editing a program.

However, I do not use MirageOS, so I was wondering if someone could create a program to do that...

If you couldn't, how hard would it be to add that to feature to OmniCalc?
For Kerm, you should also add that to Doors, it is really nice.

Actually, there was already some work on that over at DS:

There's a zip of the modified omnicalc at the bottom of the first page. It's not quite the same thing (press 2nd+ON and it causes an APD), but the effect is the same: the OS doesn't preform a putaway. An added advantage for 84 users is that it blocks left+right+on.
It actually is already in Omnicalc, except it is ON+ALPHA.
