Which do you think is the best? At the moment, I'm *trying* to use Qt, but I've been having some trouble with "make."

never heard of Ultimate++, GTK+ frequently has version compatibility issues on windows, Qt and wxWidgets are both good though.
AVOID QT LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!!
It is tarnished by horrid licensing issues, especially if you want to be able to port it to windows

Just wondering - could you summarize/list a few of these compatibility issues?
