Yeah, I've seen around that DX10 won't be available for XP.
And who really has a DX10 card now, aside from those people who have money to burn?

Guess what? Crysis runs w/ a vast majority of the pretty visuals just fine using a regular, ol' DX9.0c rendering path (which is what all the screenshots and videos of it you see are. Them all be DX9). Only an M$ owned publisher/developer will make any game release Vista only (which, of course, is the only reason Halo 2 is Vista only - not because it has to be, but because MS needs the leverage to get people to upgrade)

@Foamy: Don't get Vista Home Basic. If you are going to buy a copy of windows, just get the OEM of Vista Home Premium (64-bit)
