Sorry for being a nuisance but...what does this exactly mean? Is it that now Microsoft cannot sue people who make Linux versions for the alleged patent violations?
That's what it appears to be, but it will only be in effect after the GPLv3 is finalized. It seems to say that, should you distribute patented, GPL-licensed products, any person you distribute the product to is allowed to make use of the patent.
